Bahrain Switchgear & Lighting Industries (BSLI) was formed in 1986 as a manufacturing division of AKA Ansari W.L.L. with a factory located at Sitra Industrial area in Bahrain. Initially the company was formed to manufacture LV Switchgear and Distribution Board. From these humble beginnings the company developed into a major player on the island among Electrical Industries providing DEKRA type-tested LV Switchgear, Motor Control Center and Distribution Boards. Associations were also cemented with International Manufacturers and suppliers of Electrical components such as General Electric (GE), ABB, Schneider, Doepke, and Controls & Switchgear (C&S), to ensure that the manufactured product was of a superior quality.
